Colossians 3:17
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus…”
Have you ever been in a car accident (or, have you ever “almost” been in an accident)? What is the first thing you yell when a truck darts out in front of you? JESUS! You are hoping that Christ will step in and work a miracle! Am I right?
What else should/could you do in the name of Jesus? The book of Acts records TONS of instances where miracles took place in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38 is God’s original plan of salvation. Should you have questions about it please let me know!
Acts 3:6
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Peter, through the power of the Holy Ghost, was able to heal a lame man in the name of Jesus! Have you tapped in to your power?
Acts 16:18
And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
Paul, in the name of Jesus, was able to cast out evil spirits! Have you taken control of an evil situation in your home or on your job?
The name of Jesus is sweet, and powerful. The Bible records that it is the name above EVERY name!
Philippians 2:10
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”
Just thinking about that wonderful name makes me wanna shout!
I dare you to speak to your situation today and call those things that be not as though they are in your life (Romans 4:17)!
Have a blessed day!
